When the world’s leading athletic brand needs lighting systems to best compliment its ever-changing, themed collections, Niketown turns to Dougie Lazer of XS Lighting & Sound to provide the best in Color Kinetics products. Together with the store’s Visual Merchandise Manager and approved by Niketown Corporate, Dougie Lazer co-designs lighting systems for Niketown’s five-story, New York City flagship store on East 57th Street. Once Niketown’s flagship store’s lighting system is completed - such as Holiday 2003 front windows, 2004 U.S. Open, and “Speed” in honor of the 2004 Olympic Games - duplicate systems are shipped and installed in the Niketown retail stores in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago. XS Lighting & Sound supplies, programs, co-designs (with Niketown’s Visual Merchandise Manager) and installs (in the New York City location) the Color Kinetics products for this global sports apparel, shoe and accessory brand.
