Centrofly

For years up until its recent close, Centrofly in Manhattan’s Chelsea was one of the city’s best nightclubs. Known for having an excellent soundsystem and a DJ booth featuring the sought-after Allen & Heath Xone:V6 full-rotary club mixer, Centrofly regularly hosted the world’s biggest DJs, including: Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Timo Maas, Layo & Bushwacka!, Bad Boy Bill, Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier, Deep Dish, Darren Emerson, Erick Morillo, and many others. The ‘mod,’ groovy atmosphere in the main room of the club was achieved with the aid of the lighting system supplied, programmed and installed by Dougie Lazer of XS Lighting & Sound. (Note: See Duvet.)
